Regarding the formation mechanism of vibration and noise of deep groove ball bearings, there are two different approaches in controlling vibration and noise at home and abroad. There are two main sources of bearing vibration: one is the natural vibration of the bearing caused by external excitation, which refers to the natural vibration of the inner ring, outer ring, rolling body and cage of the bearing.
The second is the forced vibration caused by the contact and collision of the moving parts of the deep groove ball bearing. For example, because the rolling element of the steel ball is not an ideal sphere, the trajectory of the contact point of the inner and outer races is not an ideal circle (roundness, waviness), rolling surface It is not an ideal smooth surface (roughness) and the forced vibration caused by the collision of the rolling element and the cage in motion and the impurities in the lubricant. The vibration and sound are closely related, but in a certain sense, there is a slight difference. That is, sound originates from vibration, and sound is the transmission of vibration in the air to give people the feeling of hearing, so ultra-high frequency vibration cannot be heard by people.
However, if the characteristics of the vibration receiver and the sound receiver are the same, the two received signals are fully correlated, and according to this point of view, the control of vibration or the control of noise can have the same effect. And because the control of vibration is simple and easy, the vibration control is given priority at home and abroad to ensure product quality.
Therefore, for general bearings, it is recommended to concentrate limited manpower and financial resources to control bearing vibration. It is not advisable to establish a separate quality standard for noise. Of course, according to foreign inspections, for special bearing products, such as computer hard disk drive systems, bearings in video recorder disc drive systems, when it is not convenient to use vibration assessment, noise measurement method standards can be developed to assess. .
