The 923ZZ Deep groove ball bearing has a very broad dimensional scope and is the most commonly used rolling bearing in the world. It can withstand radial and bidirectional axial loads.

The axial deep groove ball bearing comprises shaft and housing locating washers and ball and cage assemblies. It is not self-retaining, so it must be fitted separately. Some of these types feature spherical housing locating washers, which compensate for static angular misalignment and are normally used as seating washers. The axial deep groove ball bearing is available in single and double-direction designs. It is suitable for applications where axial forces are predominant and it cannot support radial loads.
